The only copy of the book Compositions de rhétorique de M. Don Arlequin is held in the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris. It is thought to have been made for the wedding of Henry IV and Maria de' Medici in Lyon 1600/01 by the actor Tristano Martinelli, famed for being one of the first to play the role of Harlequin in the theatrical tradition of the commedia dell'arte.

Compo de rheto is made in collaboration with graphic designer Salome Schmuki and published by the Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht.
